#10

Well here we go we are at Wolverine lodge and waiting for the start. I drew number 10 so I will be leaving the chute at 1120am. It is a balming -40 here but supposed to warm up to -30 by mid day and slowly warm throughout the race. Either way we are ready to go!!! Check back here for updates and on the CB300 website. Right on Brent! That's a great team of dogs and sounds like great weather for Wild and Free. Work harder than the rest of them and we'll keep looking for you at the top of the update list! Let the "refresh ride" begin for the rest of us!

Saw the race was on in the paper today and looked at the photos and race standings. Thought one photo was you, but hard to tell. Wish I was there cheering when you cross the finish line. Keep working the dogs and you'll be in first.!!

Hey everyone,
I just talked with Mark (Brent's Dad) from Paxson a few minutes ago. For those who were wondering, the dog Brent dropped was Busta (or Buster is you feel the love and family disfunction with Maybe, George Michael, Gob, and Lucille) due to a minor sore shoulder. The remaining 11 dogs came in to Paxson with tails wagging and good energy. Brent's doing good too - napping in Paxson Lodge right now, drying out his clothes, and getting ready for the big push to the finish. It looks to me like he's within an hour of the lead considering the remaining mandatory rests, so it'll be a nail biter. Go get 'em Brent!
