Exciting Times

Well good fortune has foumd me again. I am back up in Eureka now and this time I am geting things together to bring all the dogs north. Dave Monson has given me a great place to stay on the road to Rampart about 140 miles north of Fairbanks on the Elliot Highway. It is one of he ans Susan Butchers old camps, it has a small two bedroom house a shop and tons of storage buildings, a perfect place to train dogs and keep great focus. This is am amazing opertunity i could not pass up. So with help from my sponsors especailly my parents I was able to figure out a way to move up here full time until the Quest. This is going to give me a chance to put all of my focus on the dogs and I am sure this will pay off come Quest time. We are in full swing right now and the dogs look great. Kyla and I will be up here until the 5th of Nov then head back to Fairbanks for just under two weeks to get things taken care of in town, buy all the supplies I will need for a few months, close down my place in fairbanks and head back out here for the winter. My brother will be visiting for a 10 days when I bring him back to town on the 26 I will make my last haul out and be in Eureka until the Copper Basin on Jan 12. I am extremely exciting about this and cant wait to live a bush life for the winter, this is something I have dreamed about for years. I will have very litle interenet access but I plan on making the trip to Manley 20 miles away everyweek to update the blog. so make sure you check back . I plan on keeping everyone updated with how things are going since i will be so out of touch. This is going to be a season to remember no doubt about that. Until next time
