Crazy Days

WOW what a month. It started out with a last minute chance to go to the Brooks range and work at a remote mining camp for 3 weeks. Which is something I could not pass up. It was a great chance to make good money, meet some great people and enjoy the brooks range. the month included long 11 hour days of working on the drill rig with a geologist, nights around the camp fire with great conversation, a sheep hunt on the last day of the season that was very successful a couiple really good stalks and some huge moose and ended with a 3 day 65 mile hike through the mountians to the haul road where my dad picked me up. It was an month for the rcord books and the best part is the dogs were all taken care of by Kyle. Man having a handler is nice it allowed me to go make some great money before the season and know that the dogs are getting trained and being well taken care of. she did an awsome job. My dad was also around to help keep the rest of the operation going. The last few days I have been working at David Monsons place in Eureka restoring he and Susan Butchers Homestead. it is a great deal I can work and train dogs in a remote place. A good Friend Sigrid Ekran is spending the witner out there and it is awesome to visit and train with her as well. I am back know and should be here for a while so I will be keeping a pretty updated blog so check back. the dogs are all looking great we are up to 6 miles 2 times a day now and building fast. thanks for checking in
